Brussels Sprouts with Sausages and Boiled Potatoes

The perfect brussels sprouts with sausages and boiled potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Brussels sprouts fresh
  • 1,5 kg Potatoes
  • 4 piece Woolly sausages / puffy sausages
  • 2 cups Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vegetable broth
  • 1 pinch Salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  1. Clean the Brussels sprouts and boil them in a saucepan with water.
  2. Peel and quarter the potatoes, also cook in the water.
  3. Fry the sausages when the Brussels sprouts and potatoes are almost done. Please don’t fry the sausages as dark as I do. Unfortunately, I missed it. But you could still eat them.
  4. Do not cook the Brussels sprouts too soft. Then place them in a cream sauce with a little nutmeg and vegetable stock. Reduce the sauce a little. Salt and pepper as you like it. I usually also use half milk and half cream, so it’s not so fat.
  5. When everything is ready, just let it taste.
