Minced Leek Stew

The perfect minced leek stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1000 ml Vegetable stock
  • 500 g Mixed minced meat
  • 200 ml Cream 30% fat
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 100 g Grated Emmental
  • 100 g Freshly grated Parmesan
  • 500 g Potato
  • 400 g Leek
  • 0,5 medium-sized Onion
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • Nutmeg
  • Lemon juice
  • Food starch
  1. Fry the minced meat in a little rapeseed oil, add the finely diced onion and garlic. Fry the chopped leek just as briefly with the vegetable stock. Cook the previously peeled and diced potatoes in the pot with the lid closed. When the potatoes are done, add the cream / milk and reduce the heat. Stir the cheese and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Stir in a good splash of fresh lemon juice, dissolve the cornstarch in a little milk and use it to set as desired.
