Cheese Pillow

The perfect cheese pillow recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 packet Puff pastry
  • 100 g Sheep cheese
  • 50 g Edam
  • Thyme freeze dried
  • Black pepper from the mill
  1. Let the puff pastry thaw, roll out and cut into handy squares with the pastry wheel. Now scratch this with a knife or pizza roller approx. 1/2 cm from the edge.
  2. Cut the cheese into small slices or pieces and cover the “pillows” with them. Season the sheep’s cheese with pepper and thyme and add a slice of Edam cheese or other cheese.
  3. Bake in the heated oven at 200 ° C / 220 ° C top and bottom heat for approx. 15 minutes. Let cool a little and serve.
  4. Tip 4: is ideal for recycling cheese leftovers.
