Papa’s Colorful Minced Rolls from Oven
The perfect papa’s colorful minced rolls from oven recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Bun
- 300 g Ground beef
- Red pepper
- Onion
- 50 g Emmental processed cheese
- 1 toe Garlic
- 1 Chilli Pepper (Habanero)
- 1 Egg yolk
- Salt pepper
- I first preheat the oven to 160 ° C (top and bottom heat) and cover a grid with baking paper. I cut the rolls in half and put them on the wire rack.
- Then dice the peppers, onions and processed cheese very finely, the edge length should not exceed 2 – 3 mm. I finely chop the clove of garlic and the pitted chilli pepper. I mix everything with the minced meat, knead an egg yolk into the minced meat and season with salt and pepper.
- For each half of the bun, I use the minced meat to make a meat flatbread that is as evenly thick as possible. I put these meat patties on the roll halves, they should be as flush as possible with the edges of the roll, as they still contract a little while baking.
- I place the bun halves on a rack lined with baking paper, which I put in the oven on the middle rack. Then I bake the minced rolls for about 30 minutes and serve them.
- Note 5: I have to admit that I make the recipe with significantly more garlic (3-4 cloves on four half rolls). With the specified amount, I consider it “socially acceptable”. Those who like garlic like to take more. 🙂
