The perfect acma (approx. 24 pieces) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

The dough

  • 500 g Sifted flour
  • 1 cube Yeast fresh
  • 100 ml Lukewarm water
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 100 ml Oil (not olive oil!)
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 piece Eggs separated
  • Sesame
  • Black cumin
  • Margarine

The dough

  1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water, place in a bowl and mix with milk, oil, sugar, salt and 2 egg whites. Slowly knead in the flour. Keep adding flour until the dough is supple and soft. Let rise for 1 hour.

The shaping

  1. Remove plum-sized pieces from the dough and roll out to the size of a hand. Spread some margarine in the middle. Roll up the dough and shape into a ring and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Whisk the egg yolks and spread them on the particles. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and black cumin. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for 20-30 minutes until golden. The best way to enjoy them warm is that they are best 🙂
