Gratinated Cheese Schnitzel
The perfect gratinated cheese schnitzel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 6 piece Chicken breast fillet
- 100 g Sheep cheese
- 125 g Sliced mozzarella
- 2 small Sliced tomatoes
- 10 piece Sliced paprika stuffed olives
- 1 Glass Pesto green
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 6 Stems Oregano
- Salt
- White pepper
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Wash the chicken breast fillets, pat dry, cut in half and pound them flat. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fillets for 2 minutes on each side, season with salt and pepper and remove.
- Drain the mozzarella. Roughly crumble the sheep’s cheese. Mix the olives with the sheep’s cheese.
- Top the fillets with a slice of mozzarella and a tomato each.
- Spread the sheep’s cheese and olive mixture on the fillets and bake in the oven for 5 minutes.
- Put some pesto on the mozzarella schnitzel and garnish with oregano. This goes well with ciabatta or flatbread.
