Salmon in Beer Batter
The perfect salmon in beer batter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Salmon fresh
- 1 piece Egg
- 1 piece Clove of garlic
- 0,5 Cup Fish broth
- 0,25 Cup White wine
- 0,25 Cup Whipped cream 40% fat
- 0,125 bunch Chopped dill
- 0,125 liter Beer
- Butter
- Lemon
- Flour
- Potato flour
- Salt
- Pepper
- Make a dill sauce, see the cookbook (dill sauce)
- For the beer batter: separate the egg yolks and whites, beat the egg whites into snow in a bowl and set aside. The yellow is mixed with the beer and the fish stock, then stir in the flour and finally the egg white + some dill and set aside for the time being.
- Portion the salmon fillet, sour, salt and pepper, then roll in cornstarch, pull through the beer batter and fry until golden all over in melted butter over medium heat.
- We had ribbon noodles as a side dish, but rice or potato products also go well!
