Rice Meat with Turkey
The perfect rice meat with turkey recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Turkey breast
- 1 Cup Rice – organic basmati rice
- 1 Onion
- 2 Pc. Kono garlic cloves
- 0,5 Pc. Green peppers
- 0,5 Pc. Orange peppers
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste concentrated three times
- Sweet paprika
- Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- Ground caraway
- Cayenne pepper
- Oil
- Soup or water to pour on
- Parmesan if you want
- Cut the onion into small cubes, wash the peppers, remove the seeds and also into cubes. Wash the meat, dab it with kitchen paper and cut it into large cubes.
- Let the oil get hot in a saucepan and sauté the onion and garlic in it. Briefly sauté the tomato paste and paprika and add a little broth or water. Let the whole thing reduce for a few minutes, add a cup of rice and add two cups of water or broth. Season to taste with the spices and simmer for approx. 20 minutes.
- Add the peppers 5 minutes before the cooking time
- A tip from me: I let everything boil briefly and put everything under a blanket. Nothing can burn and the rice doesn’t get sticky.
- I made it with green salad. If you want, you can sprinkle some Parmesan on top before serving.
