Baking: Fruity Marble Cake from Tray

The perfect baking: fruity marble cake from tray recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 5 piece Free range eggs
  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 50 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 4 cl Rum
  • 2 teaspoon Cocoa powder slightly de-oiled
  • 1 teaspoon Dried orange peel
  • 2 piece Vanilla pods
  • 1 packet Blueberries frozen
  1. Mix the butter, sugar, salt and eggs until frothy. Add flour and baking powder and mix with the milk to form a batter.
  2. Divide the dough and mix one half with the nuts, cocoa and rum and the other half with the vanilla pulp and orange peel.
  3. Grease and crumble a rectangular springform pan (35 x 25) and first pour the light dough spoon by spoon and then the dark dough into the spaces in between. Crisscross the dough with a knife.
  4. Spread the blueberries on the dough and bake the cake at 180 degrees for about 35 – 40 minutes. (Toothpick sample)
  5. After cooling, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
