Spicy Baking: Stuffed Herb Buttercorns

The perfect spicy baking: stuffed herb buttercorns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 350 g Spelled flour type 630
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 100 g Butter at room temperature
  • 150 g Quark
  • 0,5 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 piece Egg from Hilde
  • 1 packet 8-Kräuter TK
  • 4 piece Garlic cloves chopped
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 100 g Salmon ham
  • 50 g Hard cheese
  • 50 g Cream for brushing
  1. Make a kneading dough from flour, baking powder, butter, quark, egg, salt, herbs and chopped garlic, which is also seasoned with a little pepper.
  2. Now divide the dough and roll it out in portions on a little flour (I copied from Test00).
  3. Cut the dough sheet into eighths, cover each with a strip of ham or some cheese and roll up from the broad side and form small croissants.
  4. Preheat the pipe to 180 degrees and bake the croissants in it for about 25 minutes.
  5. Spread hot cream and then go to the neighbor and celebrate Mardi Gras.
