Apple Fritters with Vanilla Ice Cream

The perfect apple fritters with vanilla ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Flour
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 4 Apples
  • 1 packet Vanillin
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream
  1. Mix the flour, sugar and salt. Whisk milk and eggs together and add, mix to a smooth batter. The consistency should be really mushy so that the dough sticks better.
  2. Peel the apples, cut into 1 cm thick slices, sprinkle with vanillin.
  3. Pull the apple slices through the batter and fry them in the pan while floating in hot fat. (3 min. Per side)
  4. Drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar, ideally serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream per serving.
