Baking: Whole Grain Speculoos
The perfect baking: whole grain speculoos recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 125 g Butter
- 1 Egg
- 200 g Whole wheat flour
- 0,5 packet Baking powder
- 50 g Ground hazelnuts
- 100 g Whole cane sugar
- 1 pinch Vanilla powder
- 1 tsp Christmas spice … RZ in my KB
- 2 drops Bitter almond flavor
- Knead all ingredients into a dough. The dough should be soft, but not sticky. If necessary, add a little more flour.
- Then remove a small dough at a time and press it into the molds (divide the dough into 36 parts).
- Bake 2 tins each with a total of 12 speculoos in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 12-15 minutes.
- Briefly cool in the mold, take out and let cool down.
- Fill the molds two more times and bake.
- CHRISTMAS SPICE: … spice: Christmas mixture … can be replaced by ready-to-buy Sprkulatius spices.
