Meat and Vegetable Stew
The perfect meat and vegetable stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kilogram Goulash half and half
- 1 Red peppers
- 1 Zucchini
- Mushrooms
- 250 g Ham cubes
- Tomato paste
- 3 size Onion
- Soup greens pickled or fresh
- Sweet paprika powder
- Smoked paprika powder
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper from the mill
- 5 Juniper berries
- 1 Bay leaf
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 2 Tablespoon (level) Meatsoup
- 125 Milliliters Red wine
- 250 Milliliters Water
- 500 g Potato
- Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and fry the meat and ham cubes in it. Season with salt and pepper. Add tomato paste, bay leaf, juniper berries, meat stock and soup greens and stir in. Now deglaze with the red wine and let it simmer.
- Now season with the two paprika powders. Chop the garlic and add it. Cut the potato and onion into cubes, add and mix in. Add the water and let everything simmer for about 3 hours.
- Cut the zucchini, paprika and mushrooms and add about 45 minutes before the end and let simmer.
