Cake in Glass
The perfect cake in glass recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Sponge mixture:
- 125 g Butter
- 100 g Sugar
- 3 g Eggs
- 1 tablespoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Grated lemon peel
- 100 g Flour
- 50 g Mondamine powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 shot Milk
Halve the dough:
- 1,5 teaspoon Cocoa powder slightly de-oiled
For the glasses:
- 1 Pc. Butter
- Beat butter and sugar until frothy, add eggs one at a time.
- Sift in the flour, mondamin and baking powder, mix in.
- Add lemon juice and zest. Add milk, dough should be slightly runny. Halve the dough.
- Sieve the cocoa powder and mix well.
- Dough with 2 tablespoons each. Pour the dough into the glass, alternately light and dark. Only fill halfway at most.
- You can also put simply ground nuts, pistachios, coconut flakes or nougat in the second half.
- I used 3 regular jam jars and 1 mini jar.
- Grease glasses!
To bake :
- at 160 ° C approx. 15-20 MIN. When the cake is ready, unscrew the lid and turn it upside down. Can be stored for 2 months.
