Sweet and Sour Pickled Green Beans with Peppers

The perfect sweet and sour pickled green beans with peppers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 750 g Beans green fresh
  • 2 size Red or yellow peppers
  • 4 piece Fresh onions
  • 400 g Sugar
  • 1 liter White wine vinegar
  • 4 piece Bay leaves
  • 3 Stalk Savory
  • 3 Stalk Marjoram fresh
  • 0,5 liter Water

This is being prepared:

  1. Wash the beans, drain them, cut the ends and chop.
  2. Wash, quarter and core the peppers and remove the white skins. Cut into large pieces.
  3. Peel and slice the onions.

Now you can start:

  1. Blanch the beans and peppers, drain and cool.
  2. Bring the white wine vinegar to the boil with the water, sugar, salt and lorbee leaves.
  3. When the beans and peppers have cooled, layer them in the mason jars along with the onion rings and herbs.
  4. Now pour the hot brew over it and close the glasses immediately.
