Kidney Bean Salad

The perfect kidney bean salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Cans Kidney beans
  • 1 Can Corn
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Red Bell pepper
  • 125 g Ham cubes
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil for steaming the onion and diced ham
  1. Mix oil, balsamic vinegar, water, salt, sugar and pepper in a bowl to form a dressing.
  2. Peel the onions and fry them with the ham cubes in the oil until translucent, allow to cool and add to the dressing.
  3. Clean and dice the pepper and add to the dressing.
  4. Drain the kidney beans with the corn in a sieve and add to the dressing.
  5. Now mix everything well and let it steep in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
