Baking: Vital Bread
The perfect baking: vital bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 150 g Flour
- 100 g Whole wheat flour
- 10 g Wheat bran
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- 125 g Yogurt
- 20 ml Oil
- 50 ml Lukewarm water
- 0,5 Yeast cubes
- 50 g Kernel Mixture
- 1 tbsp Sunflower seeds
- Mix both flours, wheat bran and salt. Crumble the yeast in water and stir until it has dissolved.
- Knead all ingredients together except for the core mixture.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
- Knead again, working in the seeds.
- Now place in a box cake tin, smooth out with a spoon dipped in water, sprinkle with sunflower seeds and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
- Bake at 175 ° C for about 40-50 minutes.
- After cooling down briefly, take it out of the mold and let it cool down.
- The SEED MIXTURE consists of: sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and flax seeds, all 3 (just like whole wheat flour and wheat bran) good sources of iron.
