Baking: Marzipan Cakes / Bread

The perfect baking: marzipan cakes / bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 50 g Almonds
  • 100 g Marzipan
  • 100 g Melted butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 100 ml Milk lukewarm
  • 0,5 piece Yeast cubes
  1. Mix the flour, sugar and almonds. Add the butter, egg and marzipan cut into small pieces (or shredded). Dissolve the yeast in the milk and add it as well. Knead everything into a dough with a dough hook.
  2. Cover and let rise for approx. 1 hour in a warm place (e.g. on the heater).
  3. Then knead again briefly and then fill into a 20cm box cake tin. Let rise again for about 1 hour.
  4. Now bake in the oven at 180 ° C for about 30 minutes.
  5. After cooling down briefly, fall out of the mold and let it cool down.
