The perfect small mandarins – cheese – tartlets … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 40 g Butter
- 1 Egg yolk
- 3 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 75 g Flour
- 1 small can Mandarins
- 125 g Quark
- 1 Egg
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 2 tablespoon Custard powder
- Powdered sugar
- Mint leaves
- Knead a shortcrust pastry out of butter, egg yolk, sugar, salt and flour. Wrap in cling film and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Drain the tangerines. Catch the juice.
- Mix the quark with the egg, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Stir in 2 tablespoons of mandarin juice and pudding powder. Fold in the tangerines.
- Grease two tartlet molds. Halve the dough, roll out and place in the tins. Prick the bottoms several times with a fork.
- Spread the curd mixture on the two bases. Bake in the oven at 175 degrees for about 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
- Carefully remove the tartlets from the molds. Place on dessert plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Garnish with mint.
