Meatballs with Feta Filling
The perfect meatballs with feta filling recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 10 Basil leaves
- 200 g Feta
- 3 Carrots
- 250 g Mixed minced meat
- 1 Egg
- 1 Onion white
- Salt and pepper
- Sweet paprika
- 0,5 tsp Seasoned Salt
- Peel and grate the carrots. Cut the onion into small cubes.
- Mix the minced meat with the onion, grated carrots, egg and all the spices.
- Roll the basil leaves and cut into thin slices. Mash the feta in a bowl with a fork. Add the basil and mix.
TIP
- Put on gloves to make meatballs. The mass is so nicely packed with carrot juice that the hands look very orange afterwards.
- Shape the mince into a ball, press flat and fill with 1 teaspoon of the feta mixture. The balls have a great fresh and juicy consistency. Fry in a pan for 3-4 minutes on both sides.
- A salad made from tomato, cucumber, feta cubes and olives was served.
