Grilled Zucchini

The perfect grilled zucchini recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 tablespoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Grill spice mix **
  • 1 small Zucchini
  • 1 small Flour for flouring
  1. Mix freshly squeezed lemon juice with oil and the grill spice mixture **. Preheat a contact grill. Wash the zucchini, pat dry and cut into 1 cm thick slices, brush them thinly on both sides with the seasoned oil and immediately dip into the flour on both sides.
  2. Fry the prepared zucchini slices in the grill until they show appetizing browned strips, this takes about 4 to 5 minutes. The vegetables stay crispy and nutty and don’t get mushy when cooked this way.
  3. We enjoyed it today with vegetable skewers with baked potatoes and a herb dip.
