Cake Pops in Waffle Cup – When You Have to Go Fast!

The perfect cake pops in waffle cup – when you have to go fast! recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Vanilla ready-made cake 600 g
  • 30 g Butter
  • 70 g Cream cheese
  • 50 ml Vanilla sauce Homemade or bought ready-made like here
  • 1 Pck Waffle cup
  • 200 g White couverture
  • 1 dice Palmin 20 g
  • Sugar eyes, liquorice snails
  • Yellow food coloring
  • Or colOred sugar pearls etc. whatever you like
  1. Crumble the cake, mix it with the fresh curd of the melted butter and the vanilla sauce (or vanilla pudding) and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then shape them into balls and then into cones (some batter must also be in the bottom of the waffle cup, otherwise it will fall over). In the freezer for another 15 minutes. In the meantime, melt the couverture with the palmin in a water bath (I use a simmer pot) and add the color. Dip the cups in the couverture and drain and decorate immediately.
  2. It was supposed to be nice smilies, but the licorice mouth was a bit repulsive. Next time there will be a painted mouth again (and the eyes homemade from fondant).
