Meatloaf Cake

The perfect meatloaf cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Minced meat
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 NS. Whole grain toast
  • 4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Black pepper from the mill
  • 0,5 Teaspoon (level) Marjoram
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 50 g Mushrooms brown
  • 250 ml Broth
  • 1 tbsp Cream
  1. Chop the onion. Cut the mushrooms into slices. Soak the toast in a little water. Put the minced meat in a bowl. Add onions, eggs, pressed toast, breadcrumbs, mustard and spices and knead everything.
  2. Roll into a ball and shape into a cake plate. Fry in hot oil on both sides. Add the mushrooms, continue frying and extinguish with the stock. Simmer on a low level for 20 minutes.
  3. Turn it over again and refine with cream. Slice and serve like a cake. We ate boiled potatoes and caramelized carrots with it.
