Meatloaf Cake
The perfect meatloaf cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Minced meat
- 1 Onion
- 2 Eggs
- 3 NS. Whole grain toast
- 4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- 0,5 tsp Black pepper from the mill
- 0,5 Teaspoon (level) Marjoram
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 50 g Mushrooms brown
- 250 ml Broth
- 1 tbsp Cream
- Chop the onion. Cut the mushrooms into slices. Soak the toast in a little water. Put the minced meat in a bowl. Add onions, eggs, pressed toast, breadcrumbs, mustard and spices and knead everything.
- Roll into a ball and shape into a cake plate. Fry in hot oil on both sides. Add the mushrooms, continue frying and extinguish with the stock. Simmer on a low level for 20 minutes.
- Turn it over again and refine with cream. Slice and serve like a cake. We ate boiled potatoes and caramelized carrots with it.
