Sour Beans with Smoked Pork

The perfect sour beans with smoked pork recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 packet Rhenish cutting beans
  • 4 Onions
  • 1 kilogram Kassel roast salmon
  • Possibly salt, pepper, sugar
  1. Peel the onions, cut in half and cut lengthways into slices. Cut the smoked pork into slices.
  1. Put the cutting beans in a large saucepan, mix in the onion pieces and place the slices of smoked ham on top.
  1. Cover everything lightly with water and simmer over medium heat until the meat is cooked through. If you want, you can add salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
