Sour Beans with Smoked Pork

- 2 packet Rhenish cutting beans
- 4 Onions
- 1 kilogram Kassel roast salmon
- Possibly salt, pepper, sugar
- Peel the onions, cut in half and cut lengthways into slices. Cut the smoked pork into slices.
- Put the cutting beans in a large saucepan, mix in the onion pieces and place the slices of smoked ham on top.
- Cover everything lightly with water and simmer over medium heat until the meat is cooked through. If you want, you can add salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
