Poppy-orange Slices
The perfect poppy-orange slices recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 ml Milk
- 500 g Flour
- 1 packet Dry yeast
- 25 g Sugar
- 75 g Butter
- 75 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla pudding
- 1 packet Poppy seed baking
- Orange zest
- 250 g Quark
- 100 g Sugar
- Heat 1,100ml milk. Put the sugar, flour and yeast in a bowl, add the milk and knead into a dough. 30 min. let go.
- Heat 100ml milk. Add butter, milk, 75g sugar and a pinch of salt to the pre-dough, knead everything until smooth and continue for another 45 minutes. let go.
- In the meantime, prepare the pudding. Mix the remaining sugar, poppy seed baking, orange zest, cooled pudding and quark together.
- Place the yeast dough on a baking sheet and spread the poppy seed mixture on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes. In addition: cream
- Unfortunately I got my cake the famous 2min. brought out too late, so it turned slightly dark, but it still tasted 🙂
