Poppy-orange Slices

The perfect poppy-orange slices recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 ml Milk
  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 packet Dry yeast
  • 25 g Sugar
  • 75 g Butter
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla pudding
  • 1 packet Poppy seed baking
  • Orange zest
  • 250 g Quark
  • 100 g Sugar
  1. Heat 1,100ml milk. Put the sugar, flour and yeast in a bowl, add the milk and knead into a dough. 30 min. let go.
  2. Heat 100ml milk. Add butter, milk, 75g sugar and a pinch of salt to the pre-dough, knead everything until smooth and continue for another 45 minutes. let go.
  3. In the meantime, prepare the pudding. Mix the remaining sugar, poppy seed baking, orange zest, cooled pudding and quark together.
  4. Place the yeast dough on a baking sheet and spread the poppy seed mixture on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes. In addition: cream
