Garlic Spaghetti with Chilli and Prawns

The perfect garlic spaghetti with chilli and prawns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Toes Garlic or more.
  • 2 Dried chilli pods; Birds Eye or powder from the mill
  • 1 bunch Flat leaf parsley
  • 200 g Frozen prawns should thaw for 1 hour
  • 300 g Spaghetti or linguine
  • 3 Pinches Salt
  • 80 ml Olive oil
  • Plenty of water for the pasta
  1. Thinly slice or chop the garlic. Finely chop the chili peppers. Cut the parsley, set aside.
  1. Salt the water and bring to the boil
  1. Heat the oil in a deep pan and first fry the chilli in it, then reduce the heat strongly, then sauté the garlic, it must not turn brown. Now add the thawed prawns.
  1. Put the noodles in the boiling water and stir. When the prawns are heated, add 3 to 4 tablespoons of pasta water and simmer until the pasta is cooked through, but only a little heat. Drain the pasta and add everything to the pan with the prawns, top with parsley and mix everything well.
