Oatmeal Biscuits … No Frills
The perfect oatmeal biscuits … no frills recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Tender oatmeal
- 150 g Flour
- 120 g Butter at room temperature
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 Pc. Chicken egg
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 0,5 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
preparation
- Lightly toast the oatmeal in a coated pan without fat. Cooling down. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees, cover the tray with baking paper.

- Beat the butter, sugar and bourbon vanilla sugar until frothy. When the sugar has dissolved, stir in the egg.
- Mix the cooled oat flakes, flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon and stir into the egg cream with the milk. Let rest for about 10 minutes.
- Place the dough on the tray with a teaspoon. Leave plenty of space. They are spreading quite a bit … laughing.
- Bake in a hot oven for about 15-20 minutes until golden. (depends on the size) Let cool down.
