Katja’s Tarte Flambée

The perfect katja’s tarte flambée recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Yeast dough

  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 pck Dry yeast
  • 4 tablespoon Oil
  • 250 ml Lukewarm water

Covering

  • 4 a cup Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 250 piece Ham cubes
  • 450 piece Grated Edam
  • 2 rods Leeks or 4-5 onions
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tsp Vegetable broth powder
  1. Make yeast dough and roll out very thinly on 2 baking trays
  2. Cut the onions into rings, fry them until translucent, allow to cool … stir together with the remaining topping and season to taste
  3. Spread over the yeast dough (makes about 3 trays)
  4. Bake at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes until golden brown
  5. If you don’t like onions or leeks, you can only use diced ham, but 375 – 500 grams
  6. Alternatively, if you want to go quickly, you can take a ready-made yeast dough from the cooling shelf. and half topping.
