24 Spelled Curd Croissants

The perfect 24 spelled curd croissants recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 ml Milk lukewarm
  • 20 g Yeast fresh
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar brown
  • 150 g Lowfat quark
  • 1 Egg
  • 60 g Soft butter
  • 50 g Cane sugar
  • 1 pinch Sea salt from the mill
  • 500 g Spelled flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder

aside from that:

  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp Milk

Possibly.

  • Chocolate grated dark
  1. Dissolve the yeast and vanilla sugar in the lukewarm milk.
  2. Mix the flour with baking powder, salt and cane sugar.
  3. Add quark, egg, butter and yeast milk to the flour mixture and knead everything well until you have a nice, smooth lump of dough. Then cover it and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
  4. Halve the dough and roll out each into a circle. Use a dough or pizza cutter to cut 12 pieces each.
  5. For the chocolate cones, put some chocolate in the middle of the triangle of dough and then roll up from the wider side. Otherwise roll up the same way without the chocolate filling.
  6. Place the shaped croissants on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  7. Whisk egg yolks with milk and brush the croissants with it. Sprinkle the chocolate cones with chocolate chips and let rest for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 170 ° C and bake the croissants for about 10 to 15 minutes (depending on how big they are and how brown they should be).
  9. Enjoy fresh from the oven – just like that or spread with butter and jam.
