Banana Chocolate Buttermilk Muffins

The perfect banana chocolate buttermilk muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Pc. Egg
  • 150 g Brown sugar
  • 100 ml Oil
  • 125 ml Buttermilk, or milk
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Msp Baking soda
  • 3 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 0,5 tsp Cinammon
  • 3 Pc. Bananas
  1. Whisk the egg, sugar and oil well on the highest setting. Mix the flour, baking powder, cocoa, cinnamon and baking soda and briefly stir in alternately with the buttermilk on a low level. Only until all the ingredients have combined.
  2. Mash the bananas with a fork and finally fold them into the batter. Spread the dough on muffin molds and bake in the preheated oven at 160 degrees for approx. 25 – 30 minutes.
  3. If you like, cover the muffins with chocolate icing.
