Hungarian Rice Pot

The perfect hungarian rice pot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Onion i
  • 1 Red pepper
  • 1 Yellow pepper
  • 400 gram Green beans
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 125 ml Vegetable broth
  • 2 Cooking bag of rice
  • 4 Fine, un-scalded sausages
  • Salt, pepper, paprika powder
  1. 1) Prepare the vegetables: cut the onion into wedges, dice the paprika, cut the fresh beans in half, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the saucepan, sauté the onions and paprika, then add the beans and the stock, then add salt, pepper and paprika (hot pink) ) and let cook for 15 minutes. 2) In the meantime, cook the rice normally while cutting the bratwurst into slices and frying them brown on both sides in a little oil. 3) Mix the rice and the sausage slices into the vegetables. Finally, season everything again to taste. I still add freshly chopped chives and parsley on top for the taste. And it’s done sooooo delicious :)))
