Gingerbread Dream

The perfect gingerbread dream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Gingerbread with a chocolate coating
  • 1 glass Cherries Morello cherries
  • 150 g Low-Fat quark
  • 100 g Yogurt
  • 100 ml Whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  1. Cut the gingerbread into small cubes and set aside. Drain the morello cherries. Caution! DO NOT throw away the juice. Mix the quark with the yoghurt, the sugar and the pulp of the vanilla pod. In another mug, whip the cream until stiff and fold into the quark mixture.
  2. Either cover the bottom with gingerbread cubes in a large glass bowl or in three small dessert glasses. Then drizzle about 1 tbsp of the morello cherries onto the gingerbread. Now put a layer of morello cherries on top of the gingerbread layer. Cover the morello cherries with the quark. Continue this layering process until the dessert bowl is filled. A quark layer should form the end. If you want, you can decorate the dessert with Kaba or cinnamon powder. Chill until ready to serve. Have fun while enjoying
