  • 50 ml Balsamic vinegar

  • 450 g French fries
  1. Heat the butter in a saucepan (not too hot so that it doesn’t burn) and fry the sausage slices, seasoning a little. Keep the pot warm.
  2. Heat the olive oil in another saucepan and sauté the onion until it is colored. Then add the peppers and the garlic and cook for a few minutes. Now add a little sugar, which is also sweated a little while stirring.
  3. Now add the aceto and let it simmer a little. Pour in the broth and bring everything to a boil briefly.
  4. The sauce is now combined with the seared sausage slices. Then add the tomato pieces (let them drain a little). Now season with the spices and stir in the basil
  5. Cover and let the sauce simmer a little and add the port wine in between.
