Ingredients
 

  • 6 Sliced ​​frankfurter sausages
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Freshly finely diced onion
  • 1 Garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 Green peppers finely chopped
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 250 g Tinned tomato pieces
  • 50 ml Balsamic vinegar
  • 200 ml Vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp Port red
  • 1 pinch Sea salt fine
  • 1 pinch Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 tsp Finely chopped basil
  • 1 pinch Dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 450 g French fries

Instructions
 

  • Heat the butter in a saucepan (not too hot so that it doesn't burn) and fry the sausage slices, seasoning a little. Keep the pot warm.
  • Heat the olive oil in another saucepan and sauté the onion until it is colored. Then add the peppers and the garlic and cook for a few minutes. Now add a little sugar, which is also sweated a little while stirring.
  • Now add the aceto and let it simmer a little. Pour in the broth and bring everything to a boil briefly.
  • The sauce is now combined with the seared sausage slices. Then add the tomato pieces (let them drain a little). Now season with the spices and stir in the basil
  • Cover and let the sauce simmer a little and add the port wine in between.
  • Bake the fries in the oven according to the instructions on the packet and serve with the delicious sausage goulash. Tasted awesome.
