Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork neck
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 125 g smoked belly
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 250 g onion(s)
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 100 g cream cheese spread
  • 250 ml broth
  • 125 ml wine
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Dice the pork, fry in hot oil, and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Remove. Finely chop the onion, roasted belly pork, and mushrooms, and fry them as well. Mix with the pork and transfer to a casserole dish. Loosen the meat juices with the stock, add the cream, heat, and dissolve the cheese in it. Add the wine, season the sauce, pour it over the meat, and let it marinate overnight. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 60 minutes. Croquettes or rice and a fresh salad are suitable side dishes.
