'Pills' fried potatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes, waxy, peeled, cut into strips
  • 2 onions, finely diced
  • 150 g bacon, fat, finely diced
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely dice the bacon and fry in a pan over low heat. Add the onions and fry briefly. Then add the potatoes to the pan and mix with the bacon and onions. Cover and fry over low heat for 30-45 minutes, turning occasionally. When the potatoes are soft and lightly browned, season with salt and pepper. Serve on plates and serve with fried eggs and cucumber salad, for example.
