Fried potatoes with Brussels sprouts and bratwurst

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 sausages
  • 0.8 kg potatoes, peeled
  • 0.6 kg Brussels sprouts
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • Fried potato seasoning
  • Clarified butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Boil the potatoes until tender, briefly boil the Brussels sprouts, then let them rest until tender but still firm to the bite. Fry the sausages until ready to serve. Allow the potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and sausages to cool sufficiently until they can be cut by hand. Slice the potatoes like fried potatoes and place them in a large pan with hot clarified butter. Halve the Brussels sprouts one at a time and add them as well. Cut the sausages into small pieces and add them as well. Fry everything together until browned, turning occasionally. Season to taste and serve while very hot.
