Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 cup of natural yogurt
- ½ cup of quark (20%)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp peppermint, dried
- ½ tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper from the mill
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
suitable for all oriental dishes, e.g. falafel
Mix the yogurt and quark with the lemon juice until smooth. Finely grind the dried peppermint in a mortar and pestle and add the mint powder to the yogurt mixture through a fine sieve (the sieve will retain any stems). Season to taste with cumin, salt, and pepper. Serve the dip chilled.
