Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 onion(s), chopped
- 3 cups vegetable broth
- 2 cups bulgur, coarse
- 1 tsp, heaped salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 1 tomato(s), diced
- 2 Pepper, mild, fresh
- some olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
First, peel and finely dice the onion. Wash the bell peppers and slice them into rings. Then sauté both in hot olive oil. Wash and dice the tomato, add it, and season with salt. Now add the bulgur wheat on top, stir everything thoroughly, and deglaze with 3 cups of vegetable stock. Stir again and simmer, covered, until cooked through. Finally, season with pepper to taste.
