Spicy Almogrote

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 large tomato(s)
  • 7 cloves garlic
  • 250 g sheep’s cheese
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder (hot)
  • 1 pinch of chili flakes
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 ml olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 stalk(s) baguette(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Spanish cheese cream, tapas, spicy

Immerse the tomato in hot water, then peel and remove the green stem. Place the tomato, garlic, feta cheese, bell pepper, chili, and soy sauce in a blender and puree until smooth. Gradually add the olive oil until a smooth, creamy mixture forms. You can also use a little less oil for a slightly thicker mixture (like the kind you can buy at delicatessens, for example). Finally, cut the baguette into 2 cm thick slices and spread with the cream. This also works well if you make ahead the day before.
