Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slices of farmer’s bread or brown bread
  • 2 tomatoes, ripe
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 slices of Serrano ham
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mallorcan snack with a holiday feeling

Drizzle each piece of bread with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and toast in the oven at 200°C until lightly browned. Halve the garlic clove, score it if desired, and rub it into the toasted slices of bread. Wash the tomatoes, slice them, and rub the end of the tomato vigorously over the bread. Cover the bread with tomato slices, season with salt and pepper. Place the ham on top. If desired, grind black pepper over the top and drizzle with a few more drops of good olive oil. Green olives and a Tempranillo wine go wonderfully with this.
