Spanish hot chocolate

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bar of dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1,000 ml milk
  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Take about 50 ml of the milk and mix it with the cornstarch and sugar. Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan, crumble in the chocolate, stirring constantly. Once the chocolate has melted, add the cornstarch and continue stirring. Bring everything to a boil briefly, then immediately remove from the heat and pour into coffee mugs. It also tastes great with a dash of cognac!
