Orange wine

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 large organic oranges
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 liter dry white wine
  • 115 ml brandy

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 14 days; Total time approx. 14 days 30 minutes

Orange wine, makes 1.1 liters

Peel the outer skin (without the white, fuzzy skin!) from the oranges and place it in a clean bottle with the remaining ingredients. Shake the sealed bottle well and let it stand in a sunny or warm place for about two weeks. However, this orange wine needs to be shaken once a day during its “ripening” period. After 14 days, strain the wine through a cheesecloth into a clean bottle. This orange wine is delicious and perfect for Christmas. It will be snapped up right away. Make some more right away.
