Spaghetti with oil

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g spaghetti
  • 4 tbsp olive oil, cold-pressed
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • basil
  • oregano
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, mince the garlic and add it to the olive oil in a small saucepan. Heat gently until the garlic begins to brown. Then remove from the heat. Serve the spaghetti and pour the sauce over it. Then add the basil and oregano and toss everything together briefly. Heat the sauce only towards the end of the pasta cooking time. This goes very quickly. And most importantly, serve it hot. The sauce tastes a bit bitter cold.
