Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g flour (wheat flour)
  • 300 g butter
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg(s), for brushing
  • Sugar (granulated sugar) for sprinkling

Quickly make a smooth dough from flour, not too soft butter, egg yolks, salt, sugar, and cinnamon. Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for 1 hour. Line a baking sheet with paper and preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it’s about a finger’s thickness. It should form an even rectangle. Brush the surface of the dough with beaten egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Cut into small cubes with a knife and place on the baking sheet. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
