Quark rolls with sweet filling

Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 500 g quark
  • 200 g vegetable oil
  • 200 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 packets of baking powder
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 800 g flour
  • Fruits to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Russian: Vatrushki

First, all the ingredients (except the fruit) must be thoroughly mixed together. From the finished dough, small, hand-shaped mounds of dough are then placed on the baking sheet. If desired, you can lightly press the fruit into the center of the mounds to ensure they stick (I prefer pre-cut, canned peaches). Bake in the oven at approximately 200 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
