Fast Apple Pie

The perfect fast apple pie recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Apple boskop
  • 250 g Soft butter
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 350 g Sifted flour
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 5 Pc. Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Flaked almonds
  1. Peel and core the apples, halve, quarter and cut into thin slices.
  2. Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer until foamy and stir in the eggs one by one. Sift the flour and baking powder and fold in with a whisk. Add the apple slices to the batter and fold in. Brush a square springform pan (24 cm) with 1 teaspoon butter and pour in the batter. Bake the apple cake in a hot oven at 200 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
  3. After a baking time of 20 minutes, spread the almond flakes on the cake and finish baking. Let the apple cake cool on the wire rack, cut into pieces and enjoy.
