Dessert 'Mama Italia'

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 3 meringues (from the bakery or homemade)
  • 500 g raspberries (frozen or mixed red berries)
  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 250 g quark
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar
  • 1 shot of milk
  • 100 g almond flakes
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Whisk the mascarpone with the quark, milk, and vanilla sugar until smooth. Heat the butter in a pan, add the sugar, and toast the flaked almonds. Crumble the meringue into a baking dish, arrange the frozen fruit on top, spread the mascarpone cream on top, and sprinkle the dessert with the flaked almonds. Let it chill in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours before serving.
